well here in wales so far so good' we are lucky at the moment thank god.
but i do feel very sad for anyone who is going through this awful time of the floods,never known anything like it' for this time of the year its very frightening,and is this a warning to us.???god help us all.

By going to this website and punching in an address, you can determine your "walk score". Essentially it is a ranking of your homes proximity to goods and services like food, schools, parks, and so forth. Mine was depressingly low.

The whole thing is a con. Another thing to put fear into the population of dozens of countries. Like terrorism - I read yesterday that you've got more chance of winning the lottery 6 times in a row, than getting killed by terrorists. Just hype to control the people, put fear into them so they will readily settle for higher taxes and less services.

I genuinely believe this, there's firm evidence from lots of sources that these temperature changes are cyclical and occur naturally.

Are you one of ones who's been conned?

ever wonder what this us and they actually means? I certainly think we are all responsible for our ozone but THEY new about the damage being done a lot sooner than we did, and I would take a guess that all the low flying aircraft of late are distributing the right chemicals to induce the weather we are getting, there's your problem, now what is our reaction ? and even bigger what solution will they have ready for us?

Which would you rather have in your back yard? Regardless of cost, or effectiveness. I'm just wondering, because of the amount of people who slam wind power because the windmills are "ugly".

Are they any more ugly than:

In 1879, the first successful light bulb was tested. Until the invention of the compact fluroscent light (CFL) bulb, the incandescent bulb was the one used. Is Edison's invention still being used for the CFL?

Would it be possible to mount the rotors on top of pre-existing electrical towers? A big ugly structure is allready there, it's allready hardwired into the electrical grid, and I would assume that it's weight bearing. All you would have to do is find lines of electric towers that run through windy areas.

Thoughts?

I have watched many upon many documentaries on this subject. Some say our planet will drasticaly change around 2020 Some say 2050 and now I've seen 2080 predicted by a news report i saw in Japan. I was driving around looking for apartments and there was a huge sign in someone's front yard crossing out the picture of a wind generator that said "They are noisy!" and something else. Why would anyone be against generating power with a wind generator? Does anyone else hate those things?
