3dm, why do you people always have to pull you info from web pages that haven't been updated in 5 years? This radio flux graph is in reference to the 9-14 year solar magnetic cycle, which is included in any study of solar output. Your graph simply shows there was a very local maxima in 2002, so what?

this link (with other links) shows your local 2001-2002 maxima, compared wih maxima since the 70's. Note the 2002 max is lower.
thanks

Sun decreasing output is a fact? Or WAS a fact.
Sorry to break it to you, but we are heading toward the next peak in the solar cycle and it looks to be greater than the last one.

But, even our knowledge of the cycle is changing. The last two cycle peaks were "bifurcated", essentially broadening the peak activity, and one might assume the warming of the planet.

Also remember that heat accumulation -or dissipation, for that matter - is not instantaneous. The Earth can warm when the solar activity is decreasing and conversely cool when the activity is increasing.

It's always been a documented fact that the partial warming on Mars and similar warming experienced on some other solar bodies has not been influenced by the sun.
For many years we've had the technology to measuire with incredible accuracy the amount of solar activity and heat produiced by the Sun. For a long time now we've known that it hasn't been increasing.
The warming on Mars is partly a seasonal activity and is thought also to be related to giant duststorms that sweep across the planet for several days at a time (there's one such storm occuring now). Also, it's only some parts of Mars that are warming, other are cooling.

Nowadays they will say anything to point it away from the Sun and blame warming on man.
The release of the news story that said the Sun was not the cause of global warming was released the day before "The Global Warming Swindle" was to air in Australia.

You completely ignored the long term chart.

"All dust storms on Mars, no matter what size, are powered by sunshine. Solar heating warms the martian atmosphere and causes the air to move, lifting dust off the ground."

The ocean holds the heat from the last sunspot cycle and continues to cool through the process of evaporation for up to four years. The evaporation increases water vapor, by far the most important greenhouse gas, in the atmosphere and as you know, that holds heat in the atmosphere. As 3DM stated, the sunspot cycles have increased in length and have actually had double peaks.

image voltaic warmth capacity varies, yet sunspots are a diverse phenomenon. some components say that Mars' polar icecaps are shrinking the comparable way our glaciers are melting... yet I doubt this is merely by human impacts. perhaps image voltaic warmth output is increasing this cutting-edge day. If this is so, then perhaps you and that i are not as maximum of the international warming venture as some could have us have faith. besides, sunspots have a substantial result, yet no longer on image voltaic warmth output... lots extra on issues like radio propogation, and so on.

Mars warming? I don't think so.....
And....sun's output will actually increase, with time.

If the heat is not coming from the sun where is it coming from? Just keep sending Algore your money and you'll feel less guilty about your life.
