The more people this world gets, the more oxygen we will need. As the forest shrinks the less oxygen there will be. We are fast reaching the point of no return and any politician that tells you otherwise is full of ****. Truth is truth!!!

Green House are a lie. The depletion of the rain forest is a joke . The data is not there for global warming, around here it is slanted to local cooling.

Personally I think the major cause is over population. We need to stop breeding in order to become less of a virus on this earth. I know it sounds cruel, but I had heard somewhere (just a theory) that the Earth can only sustain 8 billion people and we are at 6 billion (or something close to that) now and growing at an alarming rate! People NEED to stop having over 2 kids. There is no need. Why have a huge family that you can't even support now a days. I wish there were nore regulations on having children. If you want a huge family then adopt. There are tons of kids out there that need your support. The real truth that no one wants to discuss is over population. The less people there are on this Earth the more energy we save and the effects of global warming will start to reverse.

Before you start saying I am one of those people without kids or never wanted one, think again I have a daughter and thought about having more, but finally realized we need less people on this Earth, not more!

Oh and yes Global Warming may be real but think about this....how much do you think the moon has an effect on our climate? EVERYTHING!! The moon is moving away from us at a rate of about 3 inches a year. Do you ever hear about that and what affect it has on our planet? You also rarely hear about Earth natural cycles. Earth has gone through many. We are definitely helping Global warming, maybe speeding it along. but I think it's also Earth's way trying to kill a virus it has (us, the human race) and we keep finding cures instead or ways around it.

The only solution out there is space. If we want to survive as a human race we need to figure out a way to travel to other planets. That's what humans are about anyway...right? Conquer and destroy. hmmm...I wonder which planet will be next!

What about it? I take it you're asking about the link between the depletion of the rainforest and global warming, to which the answer would be it's not the only contributor but it's certainly one of the more impacting ones.

By cutting down the trees, there's less of them to absorb carbon dioxide therefore increasing the greenhouse effect, link this with people's reluctance to use public transport over their cars and we've got a problem.

Yes the depletion of plants that produce oxygen in abudance has been depleted because humans need to destroy everything then justify it. So what can we do to repair our atmosphere so we can breath on a regular basis, we shouldn't have to be inconvenienced by global warming. We might not know what to do without computors airconditioners cars tvs etc. Humans are asses.

haha! Are you Serious?!?! are you asking if its true?
Of course it is!!
trees and plants absorb carbon dioxide and give us oxygen
It is proven nto be linked to greenhouse effect.... there is even a big competition for engineers and stuff to find a way to grow more algae in the large pacific ocean to help absorb the carbon and to make up for the rate of deforestation,
