I want to know, Why shouldn't we cut down old growth forests?
and lets make it on the subject of old growth forests some where in the world untouched by loggers and the Points are wildlife habitat, uses for lumber, and sustainable forestry management such as selective cutting.
And no not for an essay or what not it's for a book! Personal writing venture.
Need argumentative theories and such.

Where can I find Freelance Environmentalist writers / journalists / thinkers?

I am in the process of setting up a magazine for environmental issues. Before anyone gets too excited, I'm doing this on a really low budget, and will have to be very non-largesse (I was trying to think of an alternative word to tight!) at least until there is some evidence of success (and preferably some turnover too!)
I am looking for well balanced writers, willing to look at many sides to each argument in an intelligent way, and not afraid to really search for truth...........
