That's bullshit.

There are a lot of our technologies that are destroying the earth in a lot of ways. However, now that we are realizing this, new technologies are emerging that are reducing the impact or helping to reverse it. Wind turbines and solar panels, for example, are reducing our dependece on fossil fuels.

By definition it cannot. For example, let us say that a giant asteroid is on target to destroy Earth and we use technology to deflect it and save the Earth. We have not protected nature because the natural thing would have been for the Earth to be destroyed. Any artificial thing we do, even if it benefits us as people, is not protecting nature, it is protecting people at the expense of nature.

But my philosophy is that everything is natural. People are naturally produced by the Earth, so every product produced by people is natural too. Hoover dam is just as natural as a beaver dam.

With the advancement of Microbiology we can now isolate specific microbes that have one sole purpose in their life.. . . to consume hydrocarbons---- contamination from oils, gasoline, chemicals, etc. These microbes are cultured to reproduce rapidly in the lab, then 'packaged' and sold to firms who 'clean-up' contaminated properties. The one unfortunate part is that not enough companies, that own contaminated land, are willing to remediate their land. Too many loop-holes in the environmental laws encourage corporations to sit and wait. Feel free to email me on the subject anytime.
