I really want to find some sheet music online w/o paying for it, and my friend says that there are websites where you can download it for free.

it sounds awful and disrespectful to the composer, but i'm just a music student who want to study scores and listen to the music at the same time. I wouln't be playing with that music

As a pianist, when I was in my "glory days" (the 90s), playing European cities and doing the bigger international competitions for teens, my attitude was to let authentic emotion show, howver it came out. This is different, of course, from Inauthentic "showiness" done only for effect. The judges mostly ignored my display of emotion, sometimes commented positively,
and only one or two out of dozens made slightly negative comments. Now, after I recently did a recital fundraiser, the first thing out of at least three mouths was a criticism of "distracting movement, pretentious emotionalism." I was especially annoyed, by the comments because this was the first time I played the Liszt-Wagner Tannhauser Overture as a finale, and I associate that piece with my grandmother's death, as I first heard Tannhauser a month before she died. It seems to me that audiences, many of them non-musicians, are becoming more snooty than fellow classical musicians in judging performances. Wow.

What are your feelings?
Personally, I am very much against it! It disrupts the flow of the piece. I will go even further and say that I think that the coughing practice that is seen at just about every performance is ridiculous. I understand that some people need to cough or sneeze, but does everyone have to be so loud about it!

I read about it and it has supposedly been worked on by many different composers, and is supposed to bring on the apocalypse when it is finished or something. I'm not sure. Any ideas?

When playing a piano piece in 6/8 time. in some bars i have to play six quavers with my left hand and only 4 with my right hand (in the same amount of time as 3 quavers).

I've tried and tried and listened to a recording of the piece but cannot really get it.

what composer/concerto of baroque music with mostly lower strings and harpsichord do you recomend. I was listening to something on .77 easy classical I really liked. I'm almost certain its baroque, with harpsichord, with cello, viola and maybe violin.
