Italy has borders with 5 countries (Vatikan and San Marino don't count because these are enclaves):
France, Switzerland, Austria, Slowenia and ... over a sea-border Croatia.

composers:
Tomaso Albinoni (1671–1751)
Luigi Boccherini (1743–1805)
Luigi Cherubini (1760–1842)
Gaetano Donizetti (1797–1848)
Pietro Mascagni (1863–1945)
Claudio Monteverdi (1567–1643)
Niccolò Paganini (1782-1840)
Giacomo Puccini (1858–1924)
Gioacchino Rossini (1792–1868)
Domenico Scarlatti (1685–1757)
Giuseppe Verdi (1813–1901)
Antonio Vivaldi (1678–1741)

-----

Spain is also correct
has borders with France, Andorra, Portugal, Gibraltar (an english exclave) and Morocco (the 2 northern cities of Morocco, Ceuta and Melilla belong to Spain).

composers:
Isaac Albéniz
Manuel de Falla
Salvador Giner Vidal
Joaquín Turina
Pablo de Sarasate

wrong category, this question belongs more to geography
:-)

Vivaldi, Bocherinni, Puccini, Monteverde, Rossini

EDIT:
It most cetainly does border 5 countries:

France, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, and The Vatican and San Morino. (some folks don;t consider the Vatican a country, but what can ya do?)

2nd EDIT:

I believe 6 is more than 5, so Italy does indeed border 5 countries. I don';t recall the question being phrased as "5 and only 5 countries"

3rd EDIT:

Yeah, but at this point it's still the best and most correct answer you got. 8--D

4th EDIT:

Well, Zenbull, I don't know the intent of your question -- how could I? -- but it is now time to reveal it!!

And my lawyer will contact your lawyer in the morning :--)
