If there actually is a version for 4-hands 1 piano, I would like to see it because the one I found that said it was for "4-hands piano" actually was for 2 pianos. I would like to play the main line of the concerto on my own, that is why I ask this.

There is no solo version, a question that I answered recently after doing a pretty thorough search. It is available for 1 piano 4 hands, (arranged by the composer), two pianos, and of course, the full orchestral with piano.

I am curious -- why do you need a solo version??

EDIT:

My friend, the link which I sent you first was indeed a version for 1 piano with 4 hands. Please look at it again.

The 2 Piano 4 hand version is what you want -- one piano plays the orchestral part, the other plays the piano solo. That's the normal arrangement for piano concertos.

It is simply not arranged any other way.

I though I answered you question very well the first time, yet you give me no credit for that.

Here is a good site to visit:

You can not find a solo version for piano of Brahms's Piano Concerto No.1, Op.15.

And I visited your site, it's great.
