I'm almost finished with a teaching credential program, but have discovered (kind of late, i know) that I hate teaching. I'm a few weeks away from finishing, so I might as well...
but if i don't teach, is having the credential good for anything? in the way of getting another job? ANYTHING?

I'm a junior in college--majoring in Elementary Education. I will be student teaching next semester and then once I graduate I hope to get a job in the public school system.
I'm looking for only serious answers here!
I'm wondering if there are any teachers out there now who have a myspace or facebook page/had a myspace or facebook page? I'm wondering if it is worth the risk to keep a myspace/facebook page. I'm careful with pictures I post, things I say and how I portray myself. Plus I am able to keep in touch with so many friends over the internet. I'm just still not sure if I want my students, or parents of my students seeing a myspace page with me on it, never mind the principal of the school!
Does anyone have real life advice on this one? Anyone with similar situations?

I will be moving down a grade next year from teaching fourth to third, and my administrator, new partner and I (we do team teaching) have decided she will teach everything except Language Arts. I have never taught just one subject all day; usually I teach LA to my own kids, and content (Sci/SS) to both classes.

Does anyone who has taught like this have any insight into tips that could help me out? It's going to be A LOT of grading... any tips, maybe on keeping up with the grading, handling two flex/reading groups, organizing it all? I'll take whatever I can get!! Thanks. :)

Hey, i need help. In my seminary class each student has to teach a section of the D&C. Mine is Section 103. (D&C 103)
I need help understanding it and good principals that are in it. I can only have 3 principals and i need some kind of object-lesson-thing that'll go with it.
