I *do* want to teach someday (after I finish my degree) but I am not sure where. If I get my degree in History Ed. I *know* I will be certified for *that* state, but is it transferable to other states? What about out of the country? And if I get my degree in History alone, what kind of certification process do I have to undergo to become a teacher (in most states)? What about out of the country?

Any info you have will be helpful..

I am 16 year old high school student who have just come to the US, my English is so bad that I can't even read and talk.
In China I am always the best in my class ,specially for my math and science .After I come to the US I found everything is so different, the culture and Language . It seems to me that learning Englsih is more important than learning science to me now . I find myself not improving Enlgish anymore , I don't know why.I don't know how to learn now.

I'm trying to compare the 2. What are their responsibilities, pay scale and time they put into the job? Are they required to do after school activities, benefits, work load etc. I am writing a paper to compare the two, but also trying to decide which one I want to be, or to be an assistant and then a teacher.

In Florida a teacher was fired today because on the weekends he appeared in the play Full Monty. Personally I feel what he does on the weekend is his business, however, the school district says it is morally wrong and a bad influence on the children. What if he were in an art class and posed nude, would the outcome have been different?
