As I'm researching different schools... I play the horn and would be a non-major... In Montreal, it looks near impossible to take lessons unless you are enrolled in the music program (not the case for most universities)... Is it common for in-demand professional hornists to teach out of their home there?

We are trying to figure out the best way to categorize our books. I do not know if it would be easier to do it using the dewey decimal system, or some other way. It seems too difficult to use it for a small amount of books. I have about 8000 volumes. They mostly vary from spiritual,philosophy,self-help,etc... I need to be able to send people directly to the book so I guess I should have software to do this. Please help

I need a college student to see if this sounds good. the question is:
"What is the difference between professional ethics and personal values? And what happens when professional ethics and personal values collide?"
I answered: Professional Ethics are a specific set of rules that are either written, or unwritten. It governs specific situations and actions in whatever profession we are in, or perusing. For example: A teacher does not believe in the theory of evolution, but because he is a teacher in that field, he has to teach it because it’s in his lesson plan. Personal values are another set of rules that an individual puts upon himself/herself. It governs specific situations and actions in our personal lives. It helps decide what is right and what is not. For example: The teacher has a doctor’s appointment and must leave in order to assure his health. His personal values tell him that he cannot leave his kids alone. so to solve the problem, he hires a substitute.

Sound good?

Finals are next week for my students. I don't want to start anything new. Does anyone have any ideas on how to incorporate March Madness with math? They have been bugging me to watch part of the game today. My class is currently working on fractions or basic math. Thanks!!

I think the program would be good for me. I'm in the highest classes of math at my school but I want to review the basic things that I am forgetting/taking too long on such as fractions. I don't want to be the oldest one there, it would be embarrasing. Am I too old to go to Kumon?

As I said there are writers who didn't study languages and literatures at the university...and they are actually the center of the teachers job, the discipline..Then why must a teacher pass so many exams and inspections?(Europe)Since the writer haven't at least attended a week of courses at University ..in languages and literatures...?
Then it is easy to be a writer then a teacher..who must know all the good writers and famous..from the begining of the world..
I think that there are too many exams at the faculty of languages and literature and too many books to read (Europe).Maybe neither my own angel cannot endure to read them all in order to help me..pass the exam..although it is obviously he can read faster...
Then there should be a single exam ...the one when you obtain the job at that public or private school...Being obliged to pass suplementary exams along the next years.. it is something like a betrayal..because the teacher has already convinced along many exams . 54 exams ..
