The answer before mine was correct but if you go to www.tda.gov.uk they can send you all the details you need.
Also look at the www.ucas.co.uk website very useful and will list uni that you want etc. Book an appointment with the higher education person at college they can help you apply to ucas get references from your tutor etc. Oh and abit of advise most uni offering teaching degrees PGCE or otherwise will expect you to have some experience at a school. Ask locally most schools are grateful for the extra pair of hands. Good luck and I hope I have helped.

No I'm afraid this isn't true.

To be a qualified teacher you have to do one of two things.

Either go straight into university and do a 3 to 4 year degree in Primary Education.

Or do a specific degree i.e. english, computing, art etc first and then go to Uni and do your PGCE in either Primary or Secondary education.

Your HDC may be enough to get you into the first year of the Primary Education degree, you should ask and find out.

No it is not correct. You need a proper degree + a PGCE to become a teacher, or a 4 year B Ed degree.

you don't need a proper teachign degree in some areas, you can go for a certificate in education, this is similar to the PGCE, some areas of education will accept that
some places will accept passport to teaching, it all depends on where you would like to teach

It really depends on the state you are in. I would contact the local university and explain your situation to them, and they should be able to tell you what you need to enter their teaching certification program.
