if i have been teaching for 3 years in CA, what happens if i stop teaching for ten years then go back into teaching. do i have to go back to school, take a test, what do i have to do to go back into teaching after 10 years?

Well, chances are, unless you somehow received a permanent certification, you'd have to go back and get re-certified (take tests, classes, etc.). Most school systems might want to you to take a couple of refresher courses as well.

If u dont practice it during 7 years then

U might need to join a CA class and student taught by you might be able to teach u .

Without maintaining your teaching certificate--through in-service trainings--you may need to take some additional classes.

Moreover, if you wait ten years, your teaching certificate may likely elapse, which means you will need to retake the certification exams.
