Yo be the best person in the class, be yourself. Sit in the front rows, if possible, volunteer to speak/read in class, complete all your assignments, study hard, and your hard work will pay off.

Good Luck....

Why don't you just try to be the best person that you can be? What you are to yourself is what really matters. Life is wide open with possibilities. The sky is the limit. You have so much ahead of you.
If you achieve being the best person in the class? What about the next class you go to? Sounds like no end to that kind of thinking.
I'd rather be the most caring and thoughtful person around than just the best person in the class. What makes the best person to one person wouldn't mean anything to another. Everybodys best person wouldn't be the same. So you are trying to be the best person in the class according to your standards. Everybodys standards are different. The best for one person wouldn't mean anything to someone else.
Do you understand what I'm trying to say?

Okay... since I'm a teacher... I'm thinking .. visualising my best student - asks questions, follows instructions, completes all their work, participates, answers questions, happy personality... etc. etc. But then, why do you want to be the best 'person' in the class. What do u mean by that? To get the best marks for you, or be top in your class? I think all teachers find their best students are those that follow instructions, do their work required of them and that are polite and courteous.... A smile and a helping hand is greatly appreciated.. as we teachers are usually stressed with so many people wanting help.. Its nice to get a smile now and then - that's not a cheeky one, after doing something you know you shouldn't have.... lol....

Act like yourself, work as hard and as diligently as possible, and try to give informed, insightful opinions in class discussions. Don't be afraid to be the unpopular one if you have a differing point of view.

Basically, just be the best person you can be, and don't worry about how you compare to everyone else in the class. In the end, you stand on your own merits, not on anyone else's point of view.

By giving 100% of yourself, you will be the best that you can be, and if that means you become the best in your class then you have succeeded in achieving your goal.
