i would like for there to be a course of intelligent design to be taught in school. and i think it should be considered a theory just like evolution is a theory. what do u think?

If a student is preparing for government Job and went to give an interview . If the Board ask about Hobbies then what kind of answer should he given by him/her to make a good impression over the Board for ensuring his/her selection. The case becomes quite serious when the candidate is doing a full time Job because he is economically not so sound and he is having no time for any hobby. The answer should be in such a way that the Board could think that the Candidate is not telling a lie because the Board also asks questions related to the hobbies. Also describe me about some co curricular activities because the board also ask questions with these related topics also.

It taught about the immune system and what happens when you get sick. It's one of those movies I saw on movie day (like "Free to be you and me" or "All Summer in a Day") in elementary school in the late 70s/early 80s. It might have been old even then, but I remember really enjoying it. Does anyone know the title?

Anyhow I was just wondering how much homework you all got and how much did you complete.

From grade 6 to 12 I only spent about 5-14 hours on homework over those 6 years total . I got lots of homework in grade 8-12 but rarely did any of it.

I dropped out of high school after my 4th year of high school and got into programing and tech work with computers. I might of been lucky but I knew all along that I did not need homework or even a high school degree , I really hated school a lot!!!

What are your thoughts are we over teaching kids now a days?

I am 23 years old.

He has been in tutoring for two years. He is intelligent and capable of learning anything. He is not hyperactive he is just stubborn and frustrates easily. His grandfather on one side was the same way and did not learn to read until age 18 when he taught himself because he realized he could not make money without the capability to read. The same for his great grandfather on the other side. So it may be some sort of attitude or genetic link as to not wanting to learn to read?

Yes filtering out pornography and all of these social sites for middle schools & elementary schools is fine but I think that at the high school level students do deserve more freedom to access whatever site they want on their own time as long as it is not porn or bad chat rooms.

Yes I know that some school filters can be overridden by using proxy's and we will always be able to find a way through but when you are researching a topic or something and the site you need on is blocked it would piss you off to and that is when you must resort to the proxy's and etc.

I just think there is a bit to much censorship for high schools.

I am applying to Mercersburg Academy. Mercersburg is a prestigious, private boarding school. The acceptance rate is around 35%. My grandfather, great-uncle, and aunt have all attended. My grades are excellent with the lowest at 98%. (these are honor courses) I felt the interview went quite well. What do you think my acceptance chance is. Please be honest. Thank you very much.
