I am applying to Mercersburg Academy. Mercersburg is a prestigious, private boarding school. The acceptance rate is around 35%. My grandfather, great-uncle, and aunt have all attended. My grades are excellent with the lowest at 98%. (these are honor courses) I felt the interview went quite well. What do you think my acceptance chance is. Please be honest. Thank you very much.

I think that if your grades are as great as you say they are and you presented yourself in a very professional way that you absolutely got it. Just prey about it and keep doing what you are doing. Keep up the great work and in advance congradulations

you have a very good chance. However, make sure you don't slack off, as they still look at your grades this semester, and if they found that your grades went down, they will need an explanation and they might reconsider accepting you. I know someone who got accepted to a good university and he has almost straight A's, but when one of his grades went from A to C+, he had to write a letter to the university explaining what happened. So just keep your grades to A's, and you'll have nothing to worry about.
