It taught about the immune system and what happens when you get sick. It's one of those movies I saw on movie day (like "Free to be you and me" or "All Summer in a Day") in elementary school in the late 70s/early 80s. It might have been old even then, but I remember really enjoying it. Does anyone know the title?

I don't remember it, but I looked in the Worldcat library database for children's movies about the immune system published between 1960 and 1983, and found these possibilities. I found a number of filmstrips, too, but since you remember it as a movie, I only included the films. At the end of the list I included a couple of links to some DVD sets of these old educational films that have been released, in case you're interested.

Sorry to interrupt you... when I was a kid around 1970 s I was watching a movie but I do not remember the title. It is a family movie about a boy was born with a lack of immunity system and he must live in a sterile room/chamber. Finally, he tried to escape from its room and try to go home although he does not know where his house is. Finally he reached his parents house but he is dying because of no immune defense system and he died and hug by both his daddy and mom in their arms. I tried to find out this movie but what I got is only "THE BOY IN THE PLASTIC BUBBLE". This is not the movie that I am looking for because the boy lived and died in his age perhaps around 5-7 years old. He is not as big as John Travolta who is playing in "THE BOY IN THE PLASTIC BUBBLE", he is just a little boy when he died. I always think about this movie and hard to forget it. Do you mind to help me; do you know about this movie? If you know could you tell me the title of this movie, please? Thank you so much. - luketmi@yahoo.com -

Yes, it was a cartoon; and they were shooting at each other. Had to be before 1975 California school (San Diego).
