I did not personally pay for my uniforms, but I was involved in a private-to-public school switch.Uniforms, from what I remember, were relatively pricey (Maybe $30-50 per year). However, that also doesn't take into consideration reusing uniforms, having multiple pants, sweaters, and button up shirts, and the constant pant or sweater ripping. So I estimate about $75 per year

Since most schools requiring uniforms are private, they tend to cost a heck of a lot more in tuition than a child's wardrobe. Plus the custom uniforms cost- and children grow fast!
No savings there!
And it's PUBLIC, girl, public!:)
I don't think people in pubic schools wear anything...

hmm... for me, as a child, I think my mother spent less for switching my uniform than the other parents. because we have our own business taht sewed school uniforms.

u LOSE alot of money by switching to private schools. public school is free. besides, i think uniforms r a waste of time and money. kids should be free to wear wat they want to express themselves.
