Some time some stundent who are very clever I would like to apreciate them to know somethings new in the world, so what is the better way to open?

Give them an incentive to try and let them know that if after trying, they still aren't satisfied then you appreciate their effort.

Talk about things that are relevant to their lives. Weave the subject you are teaching into this discussion. Students want to learn when they believe the knowledge will influence their lives.

Why dont you tell them that if they participate that will be like extra points toward their grade .. this will be some sort of incentive ..

my professor in high school gave extra points to those who will research and share about something.

also, he gave extra points to those who will have a perfect score in his quizzes. if a student has a perfect score in all his quizzes, then he is excempted from taking the final exam or one major exam. it was effective.

btw, i was excempted. v('_~)v
