Anyhow I was just wondering how much homework you all got and how much did you complete.
From grade 6 to 12 I only spent about 5-14 hours on homework over those 6 years total . I got lots of homework in grade 8-12 but rarely did any of it.
I dropped out of high school after my 4th year of high school and got into programing and tech work with computers. I might of been lucky but I knew all along that I did not need homework or even a high school degree , I really hated school a lot!!!
What are your thoughts are we over teaching kids now a days?
I am 23 years old.

I never had homework till middle school, granted I completed any small assignments that were handed out during "free time". If I had done them at home, I'd probably have had up to 30 minutes of work.... Even in middle and highschool there wasn't alot of work, apart from term essays and whatever you couldn't complete in class.
I think kids are overworked today, but when I was in school I remember being bored and having alot of time to get into trouble... There should be some middle ground.
Btw, I'm 23 as well.

I had excellent school in the early years so I did very little homework later. I finished it in class each day
