my son is 3 and started nursery school 5 mornings a week after Easter. Because he gets tired by Wednesday and doesn't get up til late I have not been sending him in. This gives him a break so he is ok for Thursday and Friday. I have now been told if he doesn't go every morning there are other children who will take his place.

I am 27 and have been going out with a 26 yr old girl for just over 2 months, and I really like her. She is interesting, attractive, sexy, clever and funny, and I am in love with her. I was planning on telling her this last weekend, but in the course of a drunken q & a conversation, she told me that had slept with 32 people before me. This came as a tremendous shock to me, as I have had relatively few sexual partners (7) and I expected her answer to be similar. I have always disliked promiscuity and I am now really unsure of what to think.


She explained that most of these occurred when she was young, and that she is longer "easy". I believe her, and I am still in love with her, but I can't stop thinking about the fact that she has had sex with 32 men!! To me, this is an awful lot of people to have slept with for a young girl. Am I being stupid and oversensitive about this? I understand that the most important thing is what she is like now, not what happened 5 or 6 years ago, but I can't stop myself thinking of her going out purely to find more men to sleep with, and that I am now going out with the girl who used to be the town bike (she once slept with a bloke just to find out if he had a large penis. On deciding he didn't have a large penis halfway through the act, she just stopped and walked out.)!

Am I being stupid and oversensitive about this? And am I being really unfair on her for being bothered about it? I really hope you have some advice, because I am struggling.

no, she sometimes wants to hit at me. when I tell her to do something, she having a very hard time following directions for me and other staff members. what should I do to enforce this to stop and make her listen to me.

Does anyone know anything about these educational DVD's by Tiny Oaks? I heard they were wonderful, with original music by Richard Sherman, animation by an Emmy nominated team and bring Montessori lessons into your home. But I'm not familiar with that form of teaching and if it would be beneficial even though my kids do not attend Montessori schools.

Ok so I am a lead teacher at a daycare center. On a good day I have an assistant and an aide. My assistant and I have been bumping heads A LOT lately because I feel like our boards should be for the childrens art work and their information. She wants them to be pretty nicely done stuff etc (which when you have children doing it though it is always cute it is not fancy). Which is an issue all in itself too because first of all to me if she has enough time to sit and color on the clock she isnt doing her job...but thats not my issue this time. I compromised and said one of the boards can be hers BUT that though it can be primarily her work the children MUST be included somehow. It is afterall their room and the parents dont care to see her artistic talents. But whenever I remind her that the childrens work needs to be up there too-what she includes is totally up to her she gets upset with me...CONTINUED...

My oldest daughter is 4 years old and very bright. She doesn't get "creeped out" by much (she got scared at a dinosaur exhibit, but then decided that when she turned 4 it wouldn't scare her anymore - and sure enough, we went back and she went right in and had a great time). There's a "science guy" who comes to her school with tarantulas, scorpions and various lizards, and none of them bother her. So what do you think of the "Bodies" exhibit (the one where they use real bodies to educate people about anatomy)? Is she just too young for it, or will she take her cues on how to react to it from me? I'd like to take her, but my husband thinks it might be too much for her. Thanks.
