According to scientific theory, it started as the BIG BANG. Heat was in the atmosphere with dust and gas which started to accumulate creating stars which in turn created suns and galaxies and planets. So, pretty much most of everything is or is part of a star. Lets just say stars started forming directly after the Big Bang and it has just keep going thus far. In one galaxy there could be more stars than all the gains of sand in all the beaches on earth combined. 8)

Some scientists say an infinite ammount, but most likley a very big number. There are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand on all the beaches in the world... So uh A LOT!

You can't possibly determine the exact number I guess but roughly an estimate because if im not mistaken, every day, a star or some stars are born. and we haven't been able to measure the size of the universe...

It is impossible to count becuase the sky shows a billion year old picture of the stars and they keep exploding and rekindling... impossible to count.

did u mean film stars???? or stars in real sense.. whatever u meant its difficult to count...in case of film stars new arrivals is a trend so difficult to take census. but stars are uncountable....
