With bird flu and all, I was wondering how safe it is. What if they are unsoiled and I leave them to air and disinfect naturally in the sun? Or, how else?

I am looking for blown up ABC's for the children to color and learn off of in class. Also, I am looking for ghosts and pumpkins, things for Halloween and other holidays as well. I don't know of a website. No cost - little cost. thanks a million.

I am tired of looking at the same bulletin boards every fall which consists of apples, leaves, and books. Does anyone have any good bulletin board ideas with a craft for 3-5 yr. olds (so they can see their handy work on the board) and maybe a cute phrase that is different but yet still sticks with the season?

I teach in a Montessori based, mixed age pre-K classroom. I have one child that refuses to sit for circle time. I am constantly having to go and get her and lead her back. Yet she just doesn't get it. She has other behaivor issues that we are working on but this happens every day.

I am writing a lesson plan for preschoolers talking about growing. I have to have a song and I know a really good one that uses the word grow several times, but it is religious and this is a public school (boo on that law). Anyway, I am trying to think of a way to change the lyrics, here are the lyrics to the song I am trying to change:

He is suppose to be in a special group "readiness" or some like that. He is not actually in pre-k to graduate or get any diploma, he is still 4, why complaints about discipline when he is suppose to be learning to upgrade his skills? Has this happen before, or is this normal for kids on pre-kindergarden school?
