I am tired of looking at the same bulletin boards every fall which consists of apples, leaves, and books. Does anyone have any good bulletin board ideas with a craft for 3-5 yr. olds (so they can see their handy work on the board) and maybe a cute phrase that is different but yet still sticks with the season?

I have done boards involving the story "The Kissing Hand" by Audrey Penn. Kids can make hand prints and put them up on the board. It relates to children separating from their parents to go to school, and it makes for a cute board. I have the kids make a raccoon which matches the story and post them. A large tree where the raccoon and his friends can be created by the students. Good luck!

How about scarecrows and crows? The kids could assemble 2 piece crows or color vegetables to put in the garden. It would be a great lead in to talking about healthy foods we can grow.
Mary,Mary Quite Contrary,How Does Your Garden Grow would be another take and a reason for nursery rhymes the kids could teach each other.

Whatever the NEXT Holiday is find a Picture (small enough so that all the kids can participate) and print it /copy it whatever and let them be themselves and color/paint/glue paste whatever they want ... let them be the artist... KIDS love this! :) ... Then one by one let them pin it up / tape it up WHERE they would like it on the board !! :)
