This question is for AP/Honors students...

I am just curious if you guys have more than 8 hours of sleep?

I read perhap Time magazine and it states that around high school ages need at least 10 hours of sleep...

I'm wonder is it possible today? With our busy schedule, I find it difficult to going to bed to have at least 10 hours of sleep...

However, I managed to get about 7 hours sleep...

My next goal is to get 8 hours of sleep now...

Any of you guys able to get at least ten hours of sleep?

If not, how many hours do you sleep daily?

I'm sure that you guys participate in sports, clubs, etc...it is another reason why I ask you because being so busy...less time for sleep you know?

Comments, suggestions, anythin'...let me know!

I have a huge academic competition next Saturday.(not tomorrow) It involves Logic, Literature, Religion, and National parks. super-herd. most Catholic schools in Cali are competing. I have to study Huckleberry Finn the most. Any tips?

I am an international student who have applied for the Phd
program and my application has been declined. I want to write
a letter for head of the graduate admission appealing him to
reconsider my application. Headlines to write in the letter:

- I have recently published a paper in my field, so the whole
world will see my work.
- My masters degree is from the United States.
- Current GPA is 3.5/4 which is good.
- Hardworker and I promise I will be hardworker in my PhD
program.
- Currently in the U.S, no worry about visa issues.
- Anything else which might help.

Please help me in this regard it is so important for me to get

admission.

I have this research and i want to rank them. My research is about the Commonly used Electronic Funds Transfer as perceived by Students in our Campus. There 6 EFT's that are available in our campus (ex. ATM, Smart Money, Western Union..etc.) They will just check those enumerated EFT that they are using. I just want to know the basic formula for ranking.

i am scared of different stories of people doing their practical driving test like'hundred' times before they passed.though sometimes it is claimed that they failed the test for as little a reason as the 'examiner's mood'.what on earth does that have to do with the test?! i have even heard that you have to pretend you are inexperienced!

Well i am not a bad student i am generally a 79 avg. student but i want to become a 90 percent student. I just have bad study habits and stuff. When i do my hw or study my computer and tv is on and i just listen to my tv and look at my computer alittle, but i do good on some of my work. Also when i study for test i feel like i studied for everything thats going to be on the test but when the test comes all the things ive studied for just covers one sextion of it how can i get better at study and being prepared for "all" of the test. Also if i do my work without the tv and computer i tend to rush it so i can see it how can i stop! Please Help! I think i need the tv and computer because i get bored. Can anyone help me especially on the test part

Each bungaloe was baught at different prices..$12,500, $15,000, $16,000, 18,500, or $21,000...determine how they are alighned and its cost by these clues.
1.Captains Cottage is right between Beach View and the bungalow that cost $12,500
2.Bungalow 2 cost $2500 more than mon repos which isnt the fourth in line
3.the last bungalow n order know as the nook, cost less than its immediate neightbor.
4. the bungalow that cost $21,000 is lower down the line than Tall Trees

Some of them complain A LOT about having to run and some of them always have a reason why they cant run...I know sometimes there reason are good but most of the time its just because they want to get out of running.

I really like all of the girls but they are very chatty and always interupt me wheni am talking. Does anyone have any good ideas on how to handle this?

I'm student of molecular biology and we have experimental biochemy ...we are doing exercise and having a tests to find out a %,weight,proportions,how many x things you have to put somewhere to have y things and so...:)I don't understand that so I would like to practise at first some easier examples but then difficult so I need a web adress or sugestion how to understand those things :)

This is really embarrassing but could anyone recommend any mathe books or software that might cover percentages or decimals. For some reason I can remember other things from algebra 2 and so on but have forgotten the basics. Please help. And thanks in advance for your mature answers.
