I am doing something for my e-Commerce class on a man named John Zuccarini. And I need to know what a typo squatter is. I have looked for the definition but I can't find it anywhere. Can someone tell me what exactly a typo-squatter is?

I always thoght that it symbolized "devil horns" when you do that wierd symbol with your hands but I was recently watching a concert video of one of my favorite CHRISTIAN bands (Flyleaf) and I saw them do that. Does it really mean "Devil horns" when you do that?

I'm almost 15, and up untill now I've been homeschooled. But due to parents working and things l ike that, I'm going to start school in the fall.

The thing is, I don't even know simple things about school -
Do I bring my all books with me to every class?
Is taking notes allowed?
Who do I sit with at lunch if I don't know anyone?

Stuff like that, I have no idea.. if someone could help with all I should know about going to school.. I'd be so grateful!

I went to art school for about 1 and 1/2 year and during my final semester, I had a falling out with my teachers and left the school. I received an F in three of my courses at that school and decided to transfer to a community college instead, and doing pretty well there. I 'm going to transfer to a state university but afraid the grades from art school will affect my admission. Is it possible to get into a state school with failing grades. Can I make up more them?

If and when the Almighty Web is practically your only option for resources for college, specifically distance/online learning, how do you go about obtaining, organizing, weeding out, studying and even highlighting resources?

I've not been in a classroom setting for over a decade, and have recently enrolled in college courses online. I was always a "highlighter" in high school--having every piece of material in front of me in order to study effectively. I don't see that being possible in this setting, unless I print EVERYTHING out, and that can get quite costly.

I've just read through my syllabus just to get a heads up of what I am in for, and it involves articles and journals, and APA format and essays... le sigh.

I'm really rather organized, but in a case such as this, I'll have no clue where to start...

I'd like to know what you process is when it comes to, say, writing a research paper, or even studying notes.

Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated!

I wasn't gifted at school. But After school I studied electronics and that took me to maths then advanced maths. I loved it and found it very easy to study and flew through the exams.

Now though when I try to study just for personal interest I find that my momory doesn't work. I can read the text do some exercises and ten minutes later know nothing of what I've tried to study.

I don't have memory problems in normal life.

So what is it I need to do to trigger my memory into action?

Reading, Writing and Arithmetic! Yeah, three Rs! (I'm now doing a Harry Hill style sideways glance to the camera). What message does this send to the kids we are supposed to be educating? Can't we call these subjects "fundamental skills" or something?

i dont want to fail english... but i hate my teacher...
because me and friends were doing a presentation, we had learned all our lines and were intending to split it beetween us, untill she told me to shut up and let my friend do the entire presentation while i stood and did nothing, this would mean that i can't get a grade for it. And people witenessed it and have been talking about it and she has told to stop spreading rumors... even though its true...
