I'd take a ten minute break every hour or so. After an hour your brain can't process and hold in any more, so you have to give it ten minutes to recharge and regroup.

it all depend on ur body responds.. some people can study non stop by taking just one break .. and some people need more.
I was studying for a exam and I had to study for 10 to 11 hrs a day..the way i did was I use to take lunch break which was after 4 hrs or 3 1/2 hrs. and then after that the afternoon time which was more harder for me. so I use to take a break after 3 hrs around 3" 0 clock for 15 minn get some freash air get some coffee or tea watever U like and then heads back to studies .
good luck with ur exams.

Fifteen min breaks every 2 hours will be good, this way you will avoid too many interupptions and waste time trying to get back on the roll of studying.

for every 50 mins of study...take a break of 5-10 ins.our brain functions in such a way that it cannot concentrate continuously for more than 45-50 mins.also swap between subjects n learning n writing.......during breaks take a walk, listen to calm music, read newspapres....just remain cool.

Archana...
Plan for an hour... what you want to accomplish..
its what you plan to achieve rather than the hours you want to study...
Take power naps...
do breathing practice...
learn some tricks.. to remember key words...

Relax.. 10 hrs is too much.. may be 5-7 hours...might be sufficient...

anyways.. all the best..
