take a lot of deep breaths and try not to be nervous...stand up straight...smile..try to make eye contact as much as you can and hand gestures will make it more interesting

You should arrive early and set everything up for easy of use and so everyone can see it. Then, stand up straight and greet your audience. It is best to start with a quote or something to catch your audience's attention. Know your presentation so you don't have to rely on reading from notecards, a report, or Power Point. Move around a bit but don't figget with things in your pockets or anything like that. Keep eye contact by scanning from one side of the audience to the other slowly. Well, those are some ideas. Smile, look out into the crowd with confidence and take a deep breath before you start. If your reading off of note cards do not hold them up, place them down on a podium in case your hands shake. No one actually wants to see how nervous you are. Good Luck!
