i am scared of different stories of people doing their practical driving test like'hundred' times before they passed.though sometimes it is claimed that they failed the test for as little a reason as the 'examiner's mood'.what on earth does that have to do with the test?! i have even heard that you have to pretend you are inexperienced!

Probably the biggest thing you can master the first time around it your nerves. I am not from the UK (USA instead), but assume that driving tests there are about the same as here. If you are relaxed behind the wheel you will do much better than if you are tense and worrying about every little thing. Just do exactly what you are told by the tester, and all should be well for you.

Best of luck to you!!

i think that it depends who you get on the day. a girl i spoke to a while ago had a woman inspector and she seemed to keep failing people because she felt scared all the time in the car (she shoudn't do it if thats the case). go in there with an open mind but only go for it if you feel ready. you will know when you do.
