What percentage finishes high school? How many go to college? What is the literacy rate?... and about quality... do people educated in US schools understand what they read?

Irrespective of age or spelling skills, when someones on about suicide can we not be quite so quick to dissmiss or diminish someones pain???

Seriously, what you post can have very real consequences.
I don't care if you want to rip the piss, but have a go at someone who is'nt on the edge.
Some of us that are less abled to understand things or cope with situations really need your support and to be taken seriously.

God forbid one of your comments pushes a kid to far.
Some people just can't cope, have'nt we all been there at some stage?
If you can't be constructive then damn your negativity an just back off.

Ok,
Ive have been trying to Get a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Im in my second year now. I love the Major and I work pretty much night and day on homework and I still cannot get good grades. Its very frustrating. I failed 2 classes last semester and Im not doing very good this semester. I think its about time to consider changing my major. Has anyone else been in this situation ? Should I push on ? If I change what are some good majors that someone with 2 years of [thermo, statics, mat sci, edg etc . . .] ME courses could slip into. I like to be creative, Im fairly good at math and reasoning (at least I thought I was).

I'm writing an essay on a novel and only need to cite the novel in question. When I list my works cited at the end of the essay, can I put the list at the bottom of my last page (which only contains about eight lines of text) instead of on a new page? I don't want to waste an entire sheet of paper for two lines of typing.

I can't get myself to sit down and study, I always think of better things I could be doing at the given moment. I have always been this way so I guess I never really knew how to study ..
