Where i go to school, we have a different grading system. We get a 0,1,2,3,4. A 4 is exceding and 3 is acheving a 2 is almost acheaving and a 1 is that you dont get it and need some. extra help. A 2 is like a C+. He doesn't take no for an answer.

B is not bad, and neither is D as long as you did the BEST that you are capable of. Think long and hard on this. Did you do your BEST? Could you have studied more or asked for help? There's nothing wrong with asking for helpl
If you did your best explain this to your Dad, or get another adult like your teacher to help you to explain it.
If you didn't do your best then tell your Dad how you are going to change this for the next time. The only one who really suffers from you not trying your best will be you in the future!

You need to talk to your dad. Not many people get straight As. Do you know what the statistics are for people achieving different grades? Maybe a teacher can help you and give you that info so that you can explain it to your dad. Good luck.

your father loves you and wants the best for you
he probably just thinks you can do better
the problem is that whatver he's doing right now won't help you get better grades, he tries to push you harder and harder to be the best in everything because he thinks you can be
you should try letting a reasonable adult discuss this with your father and try showing your father that you work hard enough and that you will work harder to be get better grades
sometimes parents can't express their concern except this way and need other adults they trust and respect to show them and it's your job as well to show your father that you are doing your best and want the same thing
good luck

Darling, I know it's hard to deal with. My parents were the same way. But then I got into a school with a full academic scholarship. So, you see, he's doing it for your benefit. Believe it or not. lol. Just do your best and keep your head up. It may work out for you in the end.

Your parents are overachievers and irrational in their expectations; tell them that you can't keep up with their pressure and you'd appreciate some acknowledgement that you have such a high GPA compared to a many 'average' students.
If they aren't the types that you can talk to without expecting backlash (been there, trust me), just go to your school counselor and tell them your story - hopefully they may schedule a conference with them and explain it adult-to-adult.

You cannot get perfect scores all the time. Tell your dad that. For some reasonhe expects perfection all the time. Get the teacher to talk to him. There is nothing wrong with Bs.Bs are one of the top grades.

be happy your dad cares and wants you to succeed., my parents didnt give a crap, and it showed in my grades. I was very lucky that I turned out to be a master salesman, or i'd be making $10 to $12 an hour. and that my friend is what you do not waant to happen.

You can't get straight A's because you tell yourself you can't.
As a child in school, that is your only job in life right now. You should be able to concentrate hard and get A's. You don't have to worry about bills, insurance, jobs, etc.

Well, you should try harder. A's aren't even perfect. 100s are, so push yourself.
