what r some great ways to concentrate! i have a term paper due and i cant concentrate!!?

any suggestions on how i can get my mind on this assignment~

Close everything except the window for your paper, or better yet, write it by hand. Remove anything on your desk you could play with, e.g. pens, toys, stress relievers. Sit up straight, don't watch TV at the same time, don't do anything else, don't eat or drink (oxygen in your brain goes to digestion instead!), just write. I also find that working with someone else, especially a friend, makes it even harder to concentrate.

Try some ADD medicine.....just kidding, try to find a different place to work on it, like the library or a coffee house. Maybe get together with a friend and have them help with the research. I once had a friend act like my assistant and she would get the books I needed. She would take notes as I read things like a secretary. It was fun.

if you have Mozart or any kind of classical play it. make sure phone is off, desk is clear, TV off, turn off instant messenger, and keep all work organized and relax. don't stress out makes it harder to concentrate. don't think of it as a homework but something you are interested in and most important make sure you have eaten and have something to drink in front of you so you don't have to get up if thirsty. coffee may not be the best choice it makes some high strung and jittery try juice or water.

drink coffee. turn off music. close yahoo window, and any other windows that may be open, in fact, remove yourself from the computer until you need it to write. Organize your materials so you can thumb through them and write in order. More Coffee.
