I am very new in this field, I dont know how many kinds of nurse in a hospital, also I heard that nurses always work at night and being called. It is not fair, Why Nurses dont choose to work at day, is it better to work at night right ? and also being called???? what kind of nurses that they can work at day and work weekdays not weekends ?

I think I understand the different interpretations of de dicto and de re, but this doesn't make sense:

de dicto is the narrow interpretation
de re is the wide interpretation

Isn't the following right?

John thinks the manager of Hudson Bank is rich.
de dicto: John thinks anyone who manages a bank would be rich.
de re: John saw the manager of Hudson Bank driving a BMW, so he thinks he must be rich.

To me, the de dicto reading was wide- he thinks any bank manager in general is rich; while the de re reading seems narrow- he thinks one particular person (identified as the manager of Hudson Bank) is rich.

Schools are not publicizing Honor Roll status in students anymore or giving Valedictory/Saludatory awards. Even colleges choose to waive SAT scores.

Some people argue that
1. Grades create stress and anxiety, leading to things such as suicide
2. Grades create an unfair & hyper competitive environment
3. Grades are reallynot an indicator of a student's real ability

How much vailidity is there to these claims? What counter-argument would you make?
