Do your homework and hang out with native speakers----my French teacher in High School was native French and she treated her classes like a French High School and we learned so fast.

A total emersion course, where they even deprive some of your sleep. They only speak to you in Spanish . . .
It might be “uncomfortable for a few days”, but you will walk away with your brain in full “Spanish mode”. (and it lasts !!)
The US government uses this technique . . . some progressive language schools offer it as well.

Well, you see, I'm Mexican and I learned to speak english basically by watching cartoons in english, listening to english songs and translating them and the most important part: daring to speak!
It might work all the way around ;)
