We live in southern Georgia and come from the western part of the US. I can't get over how micro managed the children are in this part of the country. One mother was sent to jail because she had the nerve to get mad at the school official that had her leave work, go home, get a new pair of jeans for her son because they had a dime size hole on the inside of the knee and drive out to the high school which is in the next town (the children here are all bussed -another nightmare story) when she got to the school she really expected to see some sort of major offense with his attire, and when she saw the hole he had just created with a pencil (bordom ;) ) she got upset and told the people making an issue of this that "This is bullshit". She was arrested the next day by the sherriff assigned to the school because he claimed to be offended.


I'm not real sure where to place this question so I'm kind of posting it a few places I'd like to hear from.

I smoke marijuana sometimes but i only do it outside. I live in a big house with my parents and in my room there is a window, the problem is the marijuana i smoke smells a lot because is very strong, im afraid that iven if i close the dor and smoke near the window they will smell it outside my room, i don't mind if my room smells and i know it will, but how can i avoid the smell going outside my room when i smoke?

I really don't know what to do with myself... I like drawing (I'm good at it, but I didn't study art), my parents want me to be an engineer... sigh. And I haven't a good alternative project to propose. Anyone could help?!

I got stung by one a few years ago and the pain is horrific, Worst pain i have everfelt in my life. The Pain normally lasts up to 48 hours but is most severe in the first 30 – 60 minutes and may be accompanied by nausea, fatigue, headaches, fever and chills.

I've seen so many people using abreviations, that I'm dizzy. How far do we need to shorten (or in many cases, only CHANGE) everyday words? I'm all for keeping things short & sweet, but give me a break! So many times the shorthand here is so short it becomes unreadable or completely incomprehensible! Doesn't anyone type in actual English anymore?

Recently went on travels and lost the key to two padlocks that secure my bags. One, while trying to attack the padlock, broke the zipper and I don't want that to happen to the second one. I tried 'picking' the lock and soldering the round bit off, no luck.
