In our school we dressed up as teachers and took classes. The teacher's would attend and rate us. They gave a prize for the best student teacher. At the end of the day we had some games for the teachers.

yep, we have teachers day in america too. not many people do anything for it, but some kids rememebr and bring in a small gift for their teacher.

Yes, there's a Teacher's Day in the US - May 9 - but nobody pays attention to it, except for some little kids who bring a card or something. It's really just a Hallmark Holiday, which means a made-up excuse for them to sell cards.

No. The US does not honor teachers. Professional athletes get far more attention. That's why our schools are so bad,
