and the other is going through hell with him after two years in the hospital....a friend of mine felt forced to move out of town...due to she was JUDGE SO HARSHLY BY PEOPLE WHO did not know nor come over to find out what HORRIFIC SITUATION SHE HAD TO DEAL WITH...But yet they judged her...now that is wrong...tell me your take on the no win situation...she was forced to go in a care center..his family felt he would be too much of a BURDEN FOR THEM...HER ONLY CHOICE THEN WAS TO PUT HIM IN A HOME AND TRY TO RAISE HER CHILDREN...

And they wouldnt let him wear slippers because he was out of dress code.Even though the stitches were ovbious and any kind of common sense could of brought the conclusion that regular shoes wouldnt do.Now my 16 year old tore his toenail all the way back and we have taped it down,he saw the Dr and he wrote a note that he needs to wear sandles.I didnt send him to school because I dont trust them to do the right thing.For example,let him wear his sandles, let him out of class 5 minutes early to avoid crowded halls and people stepping on his toe.Its like they are robots and common sense does not apply.These are the rules and no exceptions.Another issue I have is that both the boys have reading problems and have not had to do the TAKKS tests(texas test).But now that my 16 year old is a junior,he has to past it to move up a grade.The school,up to now has not done their job teaching him because until now they were not accountable for his grades and test scores because he was exempt.what now?

Are we really passing these kids through grades just to get them out of school? Some adults have bad spelling skills too. What happened? My mother would be horrified if I didn't know how to spell as language arts is the way we communicate. We do have spell check to use, and that isn't even used.

This year all NUS card will be called Democracy cards and will prove that you are a member of the Union. The SU has stated that shops should no longer offer discount on production of this card. Discounts should only be offered on their SU Extra Cards, which the students have to pay for. This is a major change in the basic workings of union membership. As a union, such a change would have required a national vote from its members before implementation. Since no national ballot occured, that I know about, is the SU able to recind the benefits of the standard card?
