I like both. at school mathematics is made into this monster that even my teacher doesn't have the patience to explain.
It's weird when I finish school. I have an E in maths and a C+ in Physics.
I think I prefer physics though, because mathematics turns everything into this framework, this skeleton.
It rips reality from its muscles and skin and fat...and all you get is the skeleton inside. Everybody says it's beautiful, but I always say that mathematics is boring because it turns everything that is worth looking at into numbers.
"Mathematics is a Boring Beauty." ---Me
I prefer Physics because you can apply it to the things you see around you, while maths it's almost everything happening in this abstract world where everything fits together and it's all perfect.
I guess Physics makes it more entertaining while you try to solve a problem.

I like thinking about the ideas in physics, but I'm not very good at math. The Big Bang, String Theory, Black Holes - how cool are they? I like math, too, but I can't actually do anything much beyond Algebra 2. Oh, well. Everyone has different strong & weak points.

well .. ultimately physics is applied maths applied to nature ! or something like that ! I Like physics, because things become clear and as you go solving the problems .. you go "So that is why this happens" ! Its fun !
