Your fact pattern is rather sketchy but it sounds like a wife has been taking care of her incapacitated husband for two years and feels that she can't do it any more. She put her husband in a care facility and tried to get on with her life and still take care of her children. People then criticized her for not taking care of her husband by herself claiming she was selfish to put him in a home. Therefore, she left town to avoid the criticism.
If I have the scenario summarized correctly, then it becomes a personal matter of what she can or cannot handle.
Nobody should criticize her for making a decision that she believes is in the best interest of her whole family. If she has to work to support the family and still take care of the children and take care of her invalid husband all at the same time, that is a large burden for anybody to carry. She should need help and it sounds like she arranged the only help available to her. Unless the relatives or neighbors want to come over and take care of her husband while she is working and help get her kids where they need to go, then none of them have any right to criticize her.
My best wishes to her for managing the best that she knows how.

You're still not making sense. Could you clarify, chill out with the CAPS, or at least lay off the crack pipe?
