Go to college, and enroll as an student with an undeclared major. Most people in college have no idea what they want to do, And college is a great place to figure it out.
Another thing you should do to try an determine a direction is to think about what you enjoy. Ask yourself what do I do in my time off of work / school, what do I do for fun, while this may sound idealistic, don't go for the career that will make you the most most money. being happy on a day to day basis is MUCH more important that working at a job you hate every single day

If you think medical studies will be boring, then I've got some news for you. Now, if you get overwhelmed easily, then I would suggest a different subject. I learned early on what fascinated me the most, so the choice was easy. Try general education at first until you get an idea of what might make you a little more passionate about your studies. And work on that getting bored problem. It WILL get in your way in life.

Don't worry yourself for the first year or two. Most colleges allow general studies for two years before making a decision on a major. I initially went to college for accounting and ended up in the computer field. Once you get to college and meet people and start talking to others about whats available you might find something completely 'off-the-wall' that you never thought of.

I graduated a finance major from college, and hated every blessed moment of working at banks, going to financial seminars, etc.
Then i went to law school, and 7 yrs of law practice later im a happy man!
Follow your instincts. If you like medicine and think you can contribute to a fascinating and evolving practice, go for it!!
