My high school transcript is flawless, I attended a new High School during tenth grade and received an 'E' for Algrebra for 3 quaters, when I switched schools my math grades went back up to A's and B's. What should I tell the admission officers at the universities I'm applying to about the E's I recieved in Algebra? Im applying to Ivy League Universitys. I need a legit, logical, and cogent excuse. thanks

Okay, I received a letter from The University of Miami telling me to go online and update my information. It asks for my top 3 majors. If I put that I'm undecided will the University lose interest in me?

The advisors at the college I atend said that I could be a nursery manager, professional landscaper, and many other things lant related if I major in Ag. Business and minor in Horticulture. Can you name some more plant related jobs please? I am more interested in my minor than I am my major, but Horticulture is only offered as a minor at the college I wanted to attend so I am minoring in it. And a lot of the Ag Business classes compliment the Horticulture classes so they work well together.

Hi, I am graduating an entire year early from my highschool. I was wondering what the chances of me getting into a college were without four years of english besides a community college. i want to go to a university or something and not a community college. My highschool councler told me I had to attend a community college and that I would be appected any where else because I didn't have four years of english. I hope you can all be some help to me! I also want to add that not only will i have the three years of english, i have taken honors and AP classes and i am only a freshman. I took an AP world history class my freshman year with seniors. I am by no means stupid, btu wiht out 4 years of english can i still get into a university?

i have to go on a university trip to manchester where i don't know or like anybody so am determined not to go. Should i:
a)not turn up at all, so they think i'm going till last minute
b)go see teacher and give an excuse whilst being in danger of her forcing me to go.
c)e-mail teacher saying i can't go for whatever reason and hope she checks it although last time there was no reply so she might not use her e-mail
d)e-mail a different teacher (who doesn't know you) from her department, saying you can't go, even though this new teacher will think you're a prat, but at least you'll know that they are more likely to know that you're not going.

No answers saying i should go cos i really don't want to walk around from 9-7 on my own in freezin manchester.

How many of you out there went to University and earn less than your friends or colleagues who didn't go to uni?

Obviously if you are a Doctor, Lawyer, Teacher etc then this doesn't apply.

My friend and I were discussing this earlier - one couple went to Uni and have a combined income of £28,000 per year and the other couple who didn't go to Uni have a combined income of £70,000 which ones do you think went to Uni ?
