MSc in Finance or MSc in Applied statistics ia more wanted in the market in Scotland?

I would expect there would be a much larger market for finance persons than for applied statistics - actually anywhere, not only in Scotland.

Anyway, you should study a subject you feel more comfortable with. Have you considered the jobs and employers typically existing after each of the studies...?
