My high school transcript is flawless, I attended a new High School during tenth grade and received an 'E' for Algrebra for 3 quaters, when I switched schools my math grades went back up to A's and B's. What should I tell the admission officers at the universities I'm applying to about the E's I recieved in Algebra? Im applying to Ivy League Universitys. I need a legit, logical, and cogent excuse. thanks

You have a pretty different idea of "flawless" than I do!!!!

To me, flawless means all A's, all the time, in every subject. And that means also, as many AP classes as your school offers and you can get on your schedule.

Your chance of getting into an Ivy with E's (I assume that's the equivalent of an F, in other words, failing) in algebra are basically pretty close to nil. What did you get in AP Calculus 2 ?? What did you get in AP Physics?

To get a better feel for what Ivies want, take a look at the websites of the Ivy schools and see what the rank in class, GPAs and SATs of the incoming kids were. They didnt get any F's.

Basically it is Math, for instance your scores were low and you say different...Just get a transcript from both schools and compare.

That should solve the problem

i dunno, just be honest with them, because if they find out you lied, then they might not even accept you, and what does the 'E' stand for anyway?
