I am going to Major in Computer Engineer. I have learn the basic of C++. In college do I have to learn c or C# because I want to stick to c++ rather than the other two. It seems easy to me. I am in the 10 grade I know I had the great ability in me to learn. I am veryyy good @ math trust me. All my math teachers like me. But I have came across a big problem did all u computer engineer took Calculus in High School. I had moved to Reno from NY and here you are able to take higher classes but in NY it couldn't be done. I want to take Algebra 3-4 or (2) and trig so I can take calculus in my senior year should I. I am a 4.0 students and currently taking FORMAL geometry.

Which would be the wiser decision:

1. Accept a generous funding package from a Ph.D. program (political science) at a decent graduate school.

2. Apply to a MA-only program (these seem to be less competitive) at a more prestigious graduate school and hope that it propels me into the Ivy League for my doctoral work?

Thanks so much folks!

I am planning on going to school (community college) for graphic design, and am not sure whether I want to do the associates degree or the certificate, I've never been to college or anything so I am not sure if I can take pre-req classes at the same time as the core classes or if they all have to be taken before I can even get to the classes that pertain to the degree, so basically I am hoping I can start right away on a graphic design class in addition instead of all english and math, etc. for the whole 1st year.....
Thanks everyone for your answers:)

Most of the question I ask here are career related and here comes another. I like culinary arts, does going to a community college/trade school/whatever for that give me satisfactory prep to open my own bakery? Is it realistic to want to open one at all, and if so, will I make better money then working for someone else? I wanna know people, can’t wait for replies…

Let's say you did amazing for your undergraduate degree (3.8 + GPA) Would any universities fight for you to come to their school by offering you a full scholarship when you apply?

Alrighty, well im planning on going the Stern NYU for business. I want to know exactly how this works. If I stay for 5 years, can I graduate with a master’s degree just like that?

By the time I enter college in the fall semester I’ll be 17, so im planning on graduating at 22ish.

Does this sound about right? Can I actually just stay and complete 5 years of studies and be on my way with a masters?

FYI im now a junior majoring in business

Right now, I go to the University of California in Riverside (UCR) and I would like to transfer to UCLA. Does the UC system allow this? Is it common? Will I have the same chance to get in as another transfer student that currently doesn't attend a UC and has comparable grades, test scores (etc.)? Any insight would help. Thanks.
