Colleges do not just look at your GPA and SAT scores. You cannot just stress it with your GPA. Show colleges that you are all-rounded- focus ur volunteer work, your extracurriculars and your hobbies. Also, highlight your character traits and positives- personalize your essay. Also, take the effort to tell colleges that you are willing to work hard and change what you can. Project to colleges that you will be an asset to their college as well without sounding snobby or abnoxious. Good luck with everything.

looks pretty impressive to me if you have a 3.58 out of a 4.0 and you have well over a 1000 for you sat. I guess the other thing you can do to impress colleges is to write good admissions essays if the colleges you're applying to include those with their admission.

Yes there a few schools wherein you'll be able to take the ones varieties of categories, however they're probably the group institution ones. four 12 months tuition ones require a kind, potentially cash to use, and essays. I had taken a cake adorning magnificence as soon as at a group institution. And sure, I did meet my partner at institution. It was once our freshman 12 months at Michigan State University. We are intended for every different!

isn't 3.58 really good? also the sats are out of 2400 now, not 1600. if you're that disappointed with your scores, take the exams again. also make sure to do a lot of extracurriculars and volunteer a lot. colleges love that!
