has anybody else noticed that there are so many people (in your grade along with you), that just dont care about school. they dont care to do their homework, pay attention, or even try for that matter. it bothers me. dont they care about them future?? whats your opinion?

it discriominates those of different colors, race, religions!
they should be banned! In the future i plan a resolution to ban the SAT in ceratin top schools!!!

I think I will be receiving all F's on my transcript as I will be withdrawing from my college after the 'withdrawing' period. It's not because I did bad, I actually have 4A's and 1B (midterm grade) and I just feel like dying right now. I have never gotten an F before in my transcript. I dont think any colleges will accept me anymore............ I am just doom.

Is there any other options for me? I doubt it.

what is the difference between the 2, like after my school is all done, what would the b.a. be required for, and what could i get in for having my a.a. in marketing.

I barely have time to breath much less consider taking on more education. Also, I suck at math. I never went any higher than pre algebra and that was 15 years ago! But i'd really love to have a better paying job, it doesn't have to be nursing but maybe something similar. What do ya'll think I should do? Is it even possible?

I am working with SPSS right now. I collected and entered data and now I am trying to make sense of it. The problem is that I don't have that great of a grasp on statistics. I mean, I understand them, but I'm not sure how to interpret the results. Here's the deal:

I'm running correlations. The results I'm getting are super significant (yay!). So, I'm getting Pearson Correlation numbers like .444, .668, and .385 paired with Sig. (2 tailed) numbers of .000. Here is my problem: What does this all mean? I understand that it's significant, but what does .000 mean? What do the numbers like .385 and .668 mean? How do I interpret them?

You see, I was born to do music, and no matter how hard I try to pursue other things,-- I STILL find my way back to MUSIC!! MUSIC!!

But alas, (and perhaps you must think I'm paranoid and CRaZy by now) ---I dont know where or if I'll make it in the job world. All I need is a place to stay, a piano, and a computer (and yes, of course--transportation, food, the basics, etc.)

Any success stories (or just ANY stories) out there from people who MAJORED IN MUSIC---Do give details. I'm all ears.

I'm a freshmen at college and I failed a course, I haven't taken finals yet but that won't help my grade. Im so worried and scared about this. And I'm scared of how my mom is going to react too. I don't know what to do. I have alot of things going on in my life, things that just make me want to give up on life and this failing grade I got...kind of makes it final. Is there any hope? I am currently working at an environmental company & have been with this company for 2 yrs. I do not presently have a degree. I was very lucky to snag this job!! I do however want to go back to school very badly!! I must make the decsion if I want to get a degree in environmental science or a related field ...b/c Im not sure how long I would want to or could stay at my present job....or if I should get a degree that is general & I could apply to many different jobs once completed. Hi I'm going to school for a bachelors degree. I put my major down as psychology because I really don't know what I want to do but I do like psychology so I figured that's a start. The problem is I have a non violent non drug related financial offense on my criminal background. What licenses besides real estate and insurance am I restricted from getting because in my college handbook I noticed there are some exams for different fields that say state will not issue license if there is a criminal conviction I'm sure the rules are different for various states. I am in Florida. Please respond if you have some valid concrete information. Thanks!
