Study a subject you love. Law schools look at your grades (the higher the better), LSAT scores (all you have to do is study for that) and recommendation letters. So find something you love that you do well in and get to know the professors who will write great recommendation letters for you. Subjects that help improve your writing, analytical, and critical thinking skills are always good, those are the skills you will need in law school. Or you can major in the field you want to practice (like environmental science if you want to practice environmental law).

I'm a law student right now and there are students here with all different types of degrees. In fact, law schools like students with different backgrounds. Some people would say that studying philosophy is good for undergrad because it helps analyze law better. An English major might also help, but in reality they look for any kind of degree. You should study whatever you like so you can work as a lawyer in that field after you graduate. For example, if you're interested in business as your major in college, you'll be even more attractive to hire after law school because you'll know about business and law. :)

Whichever one interests you most and lets you get the best grades. Law schools don't require any courses. If you know what kind of law you want to practice, pick a major that will get you experience in the subject matter.

People who say Poly Sci have never talked to a law school admissions officer. Law school admissions folk know it's an easy major so it hurts you more than anything. If there's some kind of pre-law major, that's often bad too cuz they feel they have to untrain you.

Philosopy or political science.

What type of law... corporate lawmaybe Business management.
Criminal law - psych and philosophy, criminal justive
Medical - philosophy and pre-med.
Real Estate - Business management and some real estate courses.

Law is pretty broad. But remember it is always good to learn how to see things from the other side.
