One of those dodgy ones where you put your name down and get a PhD for nothing..

I want to be a doctor.

And before people start going nuts, i'm not taking it seriously, and i have a lot of respect for people with real PhD's.

Thanks all.

U of A faculties that I'll be hired within at least 5-6 months of graduation, ... or should I just go to NAIT cause my grades aren't hugely competetive.

I am currently a Junior in high school and my freshman year I had a 2.4 GPA. My class rank is 351 out of 688 students. I played football my freshman year and I am on the Track team this year. I am also an Eagle Scout and I am a member of the Order Of The Arrow (Scout Honor Club). I want to get into a school like Texas A&M University or Balyor or any other good school out their that would take me. Do I have a chance? What can I improve on (My grades for sure)? I am taking an AP Human Geography class and I have a B+ in their. I also had an article published about me in TIME magazine called Duty, Honor, and Allah and I plan on sending a copy to my college of choice. I have taken upper level classes like Pre-Cal, Physics, and Chemistry (I had that my sophmore year)...Basically, do I have a chance of getting into a state school or another good school in the US? Plz help!

I want to nominate one of my Professor's for an award in excellent teaching. We have to get a minimum of 2 supporters from each of the following: students, faculty, administration, and former students. Anyway, would the Dean in my field of studies be classified as an "administrator" and if so, would it be appropriate to email the Dean and ask him if he is willing to become a supporter? Or is this very inappropriate?

I'm a high school junior now, I've probably asked a 1000 questions about colleges. I'm kind of concerned. So if any of you could help, please that would be great. Okay well, I've jumped from three different high schools and it has really affected my learning environment. I have troubles with getting the classes I want, keeping up with things, etc. I am hoping that I can get into an Ivy League, but my dad has been concerned with my worries and told me that to start, I can go to an easier college and jump to an Ivy League if I feel comfortable instead of springing from the bottom of my pool of worries to the top of a sky scraper. I've thought about it a little. My non-Ivy League choices for colleges were MIT and NYU or BU, but I was mostly inclined to NYU out of the three. Seeing my situation, is it better to go a college like NYU, Rutgers, or BU and then jump into what I think is appropriate (like Brown, Columbia, or something?) Also, what's the early decision rate for NYU?
