A friend of mine was asking me this the other day, but since I am not in the IT industry I have no idea. If anyone knows please provide any input, thanks!

So he is majoring in IT ( it will either be Telecommunications or Enterprise Resource Planning)

He is interested in the following Minors: Marketing, International Business, Human Resources, Ecommerce, Economics

Out of these minors above, which one would work best in the with an IT major... 3 years from now (2010)?

When working on a large research paper, what is the best way to find accurate, academic or scholarly info? I've searched thru EbscoHost, Proquest, and google scholar with little success.

I know I have to make sure that the schools are accredited, but even so I was wondering which are the more legit. Perhaps people that have actually gotten an online degree and gone to law school. If so when you apply to law school do they look down on online programs?

I was wondering what programs are offered in the US in which you can get the two in one deal, get a masters and a bachelors, or a bachelors and a law degree. I am mostly interested in programs online.

I am 19 years old, and attending a local community college while working part time. I moved back to live with my parents after taking a leave of absence from a prestigious four year university.

After taking a few months off of school I was motivated and did very well during the summer. Now as the semester is winding down I find myself frustrated with my life.

I am constantly frustrated about being unable to achieve anything in life, and feel that living with my parents right now while going to a school is a waste of time. I am trying to pay off my debt in order to possibly move somewhere else in the U.S. and get a nice fresh start there. I am not sure what I want to do, but I am unable to concentrate on my studies while living in a place that I consider comfortable, and familiar.

I am just wondering should I leave and set out to do something with my life, or just pay off my debt and struggle through school, work, life, etc.I am just trying to get my life on track and be happy.

We will have a total of 28 class meetings this term for a class I'm taking. I have been absent 4 times, and plan on not being absent any more. So at the end of the term, that means I attended 25 classes out of the 28. Do you think I will get a bad grade for the "attendance" portion, which is worth 10% of the final grade?? Or is 4 absents normal?

The only one I've found that's really notable is Northwestern, and I'd ideally like to have more than one option for college.

Hello, I am looking for some advice from whoever has something valid to say. I need an unbiased opinion since my wife, who will encourage me no matter what, always tells me I am doing fine however I don't have time to waste. I am 29, father of two, married 7 years. I have been in school for at least two solid years. I have spent the past 15 years of my working life in manufacturing of some sort (yes I started young) and I have decided that Mfg is not for me any longer. I sold my house, paid off my debt and now we are living on campus going to school. My goal in school for the moment is pharmacy school. I am taking calculus and gen chem 1 and it is kicking my butt. I don't want to keep bashing my head against a wall for med school when I am having a hell of a time keeping up at these beginning level classes. I put in tons of time studying but yet I am still average or below. I am not fond of giving up but I don't have time/money to waste. How long should I stick it out? Thoughts??

I really enjoy debating and arguing topics such as right and wrong. I like writing and reading and I have a top notch memory. I also lack empathy and pity. So would law school be worth it? I want to make a nice amount of money.

Small colleges have that homey feel and undergrads can have more opportunities. You can meet more people in big universities.
What do you think?
