I have to write a argumentative paper and I'm doing it on the advantages of starting at a community college rather than going directly to a four-year university. But, I have to give both sides of the arguemment. So, what advantages do you think there are to being at a university all four years instead of transfering from a two year school?

actually i have finished my high school from some other country .,can my transcripts be accepted the way they are if not what do i have to do and plus can someone please explain to me how selecting majors work ..in undergrad school. can i be taking two majors together ..i want to take pre dentistry, and pharmacy if possible .. and can i change my major for my grad degree.. what is the best advise u can give to a student who is totally new to everything

I mean are they like universities in US where masters degree students get full scholarships in form of assistantships and also get paid in turn. I know that mostly all the publilc universities in Germany do not charge tuition fee but does it happen like it does in US? Thanks.

I'm 21 now. I've been trying to figure out what the hell am i gonna do with my life, I used to be a musician a few years ago, suddenly i've felt frustrated and i guess I've lost the passion or something. I'm not a smart person, i feel tired all the time, i suffer from anxiety or something. I know its a prestigious school, and rather hard to get into. Does anyone know exactly how hard and what it takes?

I've done my research and it looks great. I'm from Oklahoma, and I want to get my bachelor's degree here at OU, (before or after this possibly join the army or just do the ROTC thing), then attend medical school at University of Chicago, complete my residency and hopefully get a job in Chicago!
If it helps, here is a little bit of information:
I'm a junior at a rather small (2A) high school. My sophomore year I made a 26 on my ACT and I haven't got back my results for the PSAT. I have all A's, except for 2 B's from my freshman year in English and Computer Tech, and it's going to stay that way! I am a concurrent student at the OKC community college. I plan on having at least 8 college credits (if not more with AP classes) under my belt by high school graduation (All of these credits will be transferrable). My extracurricular is band (3 instruments, hopefully drum major).

I am thinking about entering a program for LPN in my town. This is what it says on their website,
"The Robert T. White School of Practical Nursing is conditionally approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing and the State of Ohio Department of Education. The Program is accredited by the North Central Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement."

Does this qualify as a good nursing school? What should I look for in one? Also, what is an average tuition for one of these programs?

I want a general education correspondance school. I am going to be a new mom and need to stay home a lot. I need it to be accredited and where I can count the courses I have already done in regular college. I know they have internet colleges but most of them deal with a specific feild and I want to do this by mail. Can anyone help?

i know its a little in the future(im a junior) but i am not sure wheither i should go to a community college first and then transfer into a great university or go straight to a universitity. i think that since ive worked this hard in school i should go straight to a university but ive heard its smarter to go to a communtity but if i do then i would feel like i wasted alot of time taking honors (and AP classes soon) when i could have just taken all regular and still gotten into the JC. what should i do?
